Overview
We love seeing children at Brookwood. The younger your child is at their first dental visit, even if it’s just for a check-up, the more likely they are to have a positive experience and grow up unafraid of the dentist. Our team take special care to make them feel safe and comfortable. Seeing children from a young age also lets us spot early signs of underbites, crossbites or overbites developing, and the sooner these are found, the quicker they can be resolved.
What you can expect
- A team that takes time to make children feel at ease
- Check-ups that keep an eye on how your child’s teeth and bite are developing
- We can also offer fluoride application, painted onto the teeth to help strengthen them and protect against decay. This is charged separately
- And tooth-coloured fissure sealants on the biting surfaces of the back teeth, where food can get trapped. Painless, a few minutes per tooth, and charged separately
